A warm welcome to Haus Chamanna.
Fiss enchants in every season ... When will it enchant you?

Chamanna is what our ancestors, the Rhaeto-Romans, called a home in the mountains. In the year 15 BC the Romans advanced over the Reschen Pass into the Inn valley; the Oberland became part of the Roman province of Raetia and its inhabitants became Raetians, whose steady
Romanisation followed from the long period within the Roman Empire. A large share of the local
place & field names is therefore rooted in the Romance language. The Rhaeto-Romans inspired us not only in the naming of our house and its
4 comfort apartments,
our outer facade is also decorated with Rhaeto-Roman ornaments and meanders, applied in the traditional scratch technique (known as "Sgraffiti").

The Chamanna lies very centrally but quietly in the historic heart of Fiss. Shops and restaurants are close by and the cable cars are six minutes on foot through the pedestrian zone. Walking trails, cross-country ski tracks and children’s playgrounds are three minutes from the house. From there the gentle hills of the Sonnenterrasse spread out in front of you, with the panoramic walking trails between Fiss and Ladis; there are plenty of inviting walks in winter as well. Our guests mention the ideal location of the house again and again.
